You'll support all stages of development for open AI artifacts and technologies at a leading AI research institute. You'll provide direct AI counseling for applications, research demos, and conservation tools, balancing business priorities with evolving AI regulations. This role offers a rare opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI research in a hybrid setting on Lake Union.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support data curation, model training, release planning, and post-release management.
• Provide direct AI counseling and bridge legal and technical requirements.
• Review and prepare data licenses, open source licenses, and documentation.
• Create frameworks for responsible AI development and streamline releases.

📋 Requirements

• JD degree and licensed to practice law in Washington State.
• 6+ years of technology transactions experience in law firm or corporate environment.
• Experience with copyright and IP licensing.
• Experience with data governance and privacy laws like GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA.
