💼 About This Role

You'll join the Monitoring & Alerting team at Observe by Snowflake, building AI-powered observability for enterprise scale. Your work ensures engineering teams detect and resolve incidents faster while avoiding unexpected pages. This role combines platform engineering, AI, and customer impact with startup velocity and Snowflake's global reach.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Drive high-impact features end-to-end from design to delivery
• Design and scale monitoring pipeline for high concurrency SQL workloads
• Own full product surface, iterating on backend and AI interactions
• Build AI-native workflows for monitor creation and alert triage
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, PMs, and customers

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with high-scale systems
• Deep understanding of high-concurrency distributed system design
• Strong programming and debugging skills under pressure
• Product mindset with user motivation understanding
• Experience owning projects end-to-end with minimal guidance

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior experience building observability, monitoring, or alerting systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven workflows like anomaly detection
• Experience with large-scale data platforms (Snowflake, data lakes)
