Description

You will lead environmental testing of aerospace, military, and space hardware, managing projects, personnel, and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and uphold safety and technical excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years in environmental testing, 5+ years in management
• Expertise in MIL-STD-810, RTCA DO-160, SMC-S-016
• Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot environmental testing equipment
• Experience with data acquisition systems (e.g., NI cDAQs) and sensors (accelerometers, thermocouples)
• BS/MS/PhD in engineering; U.S. Person required

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental lab projects including quoting, planning, execution, data review, failure analysis, and final reporting
• Develop qualification testing strategies for aerospace, military, and space hardware
• Serve as subject matter expert in dynamic and environmental testing
• Oversee operation and troubleshooting of data acquisition systems, wiring, and instrumentation
• Direct operation and maintenance of environmental testing equipment like shaker tables, thermal chambers, altitude chambers, and thermal vacuum chambers
