💼 About This Role

You'll own public company reporting and securities compliance for Opendoor, supporting board operations and corporate governance. You'll work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Investor Relations to prepare SEC filings and advise senior leadership. This role offers direct visibility with executives and the chance to build an AI-first legal function.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare SEC filings and review earnings releases and investor communications
• Advise on internal securities matters including trading windows and 10b5-1 plans
• Support board operations, corporate governance, and annual shareholder meetings
• Pilot AI and automation workflows for disclosure drafting and governance monitoring

📋 Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with active Bar membership
• 5+ years of substantive experience with SEC reporting and securities laws
• Deep knowledge of corporate law, corporate governance standards, and trends
• Familiarity with equity compensation plans and executive compensation
