💼 About This Role

You'll be the first point of contact in a fast-paced ER, triaging patients and supporting treatments. You'll gain hands-on experience in emergency medicine, from anesthesia to CPR, with full training provided. You'll grow into a credentialed technician through guided learning pathways.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Triage incoming patients and guide them toward care
• Assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics (bloodwork, imaging, catheters)
• Set up and monitor anesthesia, sedation, IV fluids, and blood transfusions
• Perform CPR and become RECOVER Certified Rescuer (training provided)

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years in a veterinary assistant role
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and support up to 40 kg with assistance
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis

• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
• Emergency or specialty experience
