As a Sales Engineer at Canonical, you will help global enterprises adopt Ubuntu Pro and open source technologies. You will work closely with sales leads to understand customer requirements, deliver product demonstrations, and advocate for customer needs to influence the product roadmap. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen in a remote-first, globally distributed environment.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish and English skills
• Exceptional academic track record
• Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or equivalent experience
• Practical knowledge of Linux, virtualization, containers, and networking
• Intermediate Python programming skills

Responsibilities

• Collect customer business requirements and advise on Ubuntu and open source applications
• Identify customer challenges and articulate how Ubuntu Pro can solve them
• Deliver presentations and demos of Ubuntu Pro to clients
• Liaise with product teams to provide feedback and influence roadmap
• Collaborate with sales team to reach common targets
