Description

You will create and lead recreational programs for clients in a behavioral health setting, supporting their recovery through activities, hobby building, and physical events. This role focuses on holistic wellness alongside behavioral skill building, medication support, and dietary teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, art therapy, or recreation therapy
• Registered or eligible for registration as one of the above therapists
• Valid California driver's license
• Two years' experience in a social or recreational program within past five years, one year full-time in a healthcare client activities program
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and lead recreational programs with activities, hobbies, and physical events
• Support client recovery through holistic wellness including behavioral skill building and pre-vocational training
• Plan holiday events throughout the year
