Description

You will support supplier quality activities for battery energy storage systems, working with engineering and supply chain teams to select, audit, and evaluate suppliers. You'll ensure suppliers maintain robust manufacturing processes, coordinate factory testing, and resolve non-conformances before shipment. This role is critical to preventing quality issues at the source for utility-scale energy storage equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3-7 years of experience in supplier or product quality engineering in energy or manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with electrical power systems, BESS, inverters, transformers, or switchgear
• Experience with supplier process audits and quality management systems (ISO 9001)
• Willingness to travel up to 75%

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier selection, evaluation, and qualification
• Perform supplier process audits at new and existing vendors
• Manage supplier quality issues, guiding root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Review and approve supplier quality documentation (ITPs, FAT procedures, control plans)
• Witness Factory Acceptance Tests and track non-conformances to resolution
