Description
You will own the productionization and operational lifecycle of our machine learning models, working closely with a Data Scientist to take validated models from notebooks to production systems serving predictions. This is our first ML Engineer role, and you'll shape the direction of our ML Platform, building reusable tooling and self-service capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience productionizing machine learning models
- Proficiency in Python and Docker
- Experience with AWS SageMaker, Step Functions, or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD and MLOps practices
- Ability to build and maintain production ML systems
Responsibilities
- Transform prototypes into modular, production-ready Python code
- Containerize models with Docker and ECR
- Implement comprehensive testing: unit, integration, model validation
- Build automated training and inference pipelines using SageMaker Pipelines, Step Functions
- Deploy models to SageMaker endpoints and batch transform jobs, integrate with Rails app via APIs
