You'll design and build large-scale financial systems that handle high volumes of transactional data with correctness and precision. You'll partner directly with CFO and finance leadership to translate business requirements into technical specifications, creating robust data models and orchestration logic for ledgering, reconciliation, and financial reporting. This role sits at the heart of Ramp's mission to build the smart infrastructure for finance teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build large-scale financial systems with transactional data
• Create robust data models for ledgering and reconciliation
• Partner with CFO to translate business requirements into technical specs
• Build systems ensuring auditability and regulatory compliance

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years of backend engineering experience with data-intensive systems
• Strong Python experience as primary language
• Deep SQL knowledge and complex data modeling
• System design skills to architect scalable solutions

• Experience with financial data (banking, payments, cards)
• Familiarity with accounting concepts and ledgering systems
• Experience with Kafka or distributed systems
