You will lead a talented team building a complex data streaming product suite using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and React. Drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product management to solve customers' challenging data problems.

Requirements

• 6+ years commercial software development experience with JVM language (Java) and Spring ecosystem
• 2+ years leading and mentoring a team of software engineers
• Extensive product experience in data streaming or data tooling (Apache Kafka, Debezium)
• Experience with relational and document data modeling (SQL, MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience with SQL and document databases

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers
• Drive architectural vision and long-term technical roadmap for Data Migration product suite
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define features and translate business requirements into technical designs
• Lead design and implementation of complex, mission-critical components of data streaming and migration platform
• Champion engineering best practices through design and code reviews
