💼 About This Role

You'll own the AI platform strategy and architecture for MeridianLink's customer-facing AI capabilities in a regulated financial environment. You'll design infrastructure for reliable, scalable, responsible AI development. This fully remote role reports to the Director of Platform Services.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own reference architecture for AI platform
• Drive build-vs-buy evaluations for AI components
• Contribute to backend development in Python and RESTful APIs
• Mentor L3-L4 engineers through code reviews and design sessions

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in professional software engineering
• Proven end-to-end delivery of AI-powered features
• Strong proficiency in Python and RESTful API development
• Experience with AWS (preferred)

✨ Nice to Have

• Hands-on integration with third-party LLM/AI APIs
• Knowledge of full-stack development (React, TypeScript)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and AI-assisted tools
