💼 About This Role

You'll deliver new product capabilities across OpenGov's platform, working full-stack from database models to UI components. You'll own features end-to-end and use AI-assisted development tools daily. You'll also build AI-powered product experiences for government agencies that serve over 2,000 communities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and improve APIs, microservices, and frontend experiences
• Own features end-to-end: define, build, ship, and monitor
• Build AI-powered product features and workflows
• Conduct thorough code reviews of human and AI-generated code

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience building scalable software
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Hands-on with Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (preferably AWS)

• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers
• Track record of driving team improvement through mentoring
• Previous work in govtech, fintech, or regulated SaaS
