💼 About This Role

You'll lead ADCS subsystem design and analysis for satellite constellations at BlackSky. Your work will directly impact national security and commercial intelligence missions by improving on-orbit performance. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform ADCS subsystem analyses like agility and pointing budgets.
• Develop 6DOF simulations to verify satellite design and CONOPs.
• Define ADCS component hardware and software service requirements.
• Develop GNC control algorithms and failure detection protocols.
• Support satellite launch, early ops, and on-orbit telemetry analysis.

📋 Requirements

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years professional experience in spacecraft GNC/ADCS.
• Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink for data analysis.
• US Citizenship required for the supported program.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with extreme accuracy pointing requirements.
• Proficiency with Python and/or C++.
• Orbital mechanics and orbit propagation experience.
