Description

You will provide strategic legal guidance to Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams on issues including privacy, IP, and emerging technologies. You'll lead compliance projects, manage patent programs, and translate legal requirements into actionable advice for a high-growth autonomous vehicle startup.

Requirements

• 8+ years law firm and/or in-house experience in technology
• J.D. from accredited law school and active state bar membership
• Experience advising on regulatory compliance for new technologies
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, execution-focused environment

Responsibilities

• Advise Product, Engineering, and Marketing on AI/autonomy legal issues (privacy, data protection, IP)
• Lead cross-functional compliance, safety, and IP protection projects
• Review product integrations for legal compliance
• Manage patenting program and IP strategy
• Edit customer contracts and marketing materials
