Description

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the Corporate Engineering team, you will ensure the continuous operation and enhancement of Planet's internal IT systems. You'll automate network tasks using Python or Go, manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, and participate in on-call rotations to improve incident response and reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in infrastructure development/operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Expertise with Python or Go scripting
• Advanced experience with LAN/WAN technologies and protocols like BGP
• Experience with Juniper (Junos), Arista (EOS), and HP Aruba switching/routing platforms

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of internal IT systems
• Improve existing and create new solutions
• Drive infrastructure setup and maintenance of new location
• Architect, deploy, and maintain high-availability campus network environments
• Participate in on-call rotation and improve incident response and post-mortem processes
