Description

You will own the integrity of financial numbers, controls, and reporting for Mews' fintech activities, ensuring accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. You'll design processes and policies for payment flows and partner with cross-functional teams to drive clarity in a high-growth tech environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in finance, controllership, or FP&A with exposure to payments or fintech
• Proven entity-level or business-line accountability including oversight of shared services
• Comfort operating in a matrix with indirect influence across central finance, product, ops, and third parties
• Strong grasp of European payments and financial services environment
• Based in the Netherlands

Responsibilities

• Own accuracy and timeliness of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow for fintech activities
• Design, approve, and maintain finance processes, policies, and controls for payment flows, intercompany charges, and tax
• Oversee management reporting and forecasts, providing board-ready narratives
• Partner with Risk & Compliance to align finance processes with governance and operational resilience
• Act as primary finance counterpart to banks, auditors, and external partners
