Description

Lead the Data Pipeline engineering team at Salt Security, tackling big data and stream processing challenges in a high-scale environment. You'll work on analyzing traffic patterns, identifying attackers, and improving customers' security posture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years in Scala, Java, or Go
• 2+ years leading an engineering team of 3+
• Experience with data pipeline development for streaming or batch processing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3+ engineers developing data pipelines
• Design and build large-scale, data-oriented applications
• Develop complex distributed systems (microservices, event-driven)
• Analyze traffic patterns to identify attackers and attack vectors
• Provide customers with improved visibility into their security posture
