Description

You'll lead complex performance investigations across a large JVM-based microservice architecture, building diagnostic tools and optimizing resource efficiency. You'll work with infrastructure layers from the Linux Kernel to cloud-wide orchestration to reduce latency and costs.

Requirements

• Expertise in JVM internals (JIT compilation, class loading, intrinsic methods)
• Extensive experience with GC algorithms (ZGC, G1, Shenandoah)
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel scheduling (CFS/EEVDF)
• Mastery of heap and off-heap memory management
• Proven ability to diagnose complex concurrency issues

Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive performance investigations to resolve systemic bottlenecks
• Optimize resource efficiency by tuning JVM parameters and memory management
• Build advanced observability tools using eBPF, JFR, and Flamegraphs
• Bridge Linux Kernel and JVM performance alignment
• Mentor engineers on JVM internals and performance best practices
