You'll lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems for advanced drones and public safety products, collaborating cross-functionally to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Your work will directly impact first responders by enhancing safety and enabling de-escalation-focused responses. This role offers the opportunity to shape technology used by over 600 agencies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own hardware development from specification to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, and manufacturing engineers.
• Design flight hardware and test setups for validation.
• Establish design architectures and communicate decisions.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in mechanical engineering or product design.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with DFM, DFA, and DFT.
• Experience with statistical tolerance analysis and GD&T.

✨ Nice to Have

• 8+ years designing for Aerospace, Robotics, or related industries.
• Experience with UAV/UAS for commercial or defense applications.
• In-depth understanding of packaging for electronics and high-stress environments.
