💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the primary legal partner to Navan's Sourcing and Finance teams, owning the legal side of the company's supply chain and streamlining the procurement lifecycle. You'll leverage AI to build playbooks and self-service tools, accelerating the business while mitigating third-party risk.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate inbound commercial agreements including SaaS, MSAs, and hardware.
• Manage the legal intake queue, prioritizing based on business impact.
• Partner with InfoSec and Privacy teams to assess vendor risks and data security requirements.
• Build and maintain procurement legal playbooks and standard templates using AI.

📋 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 4-7+ years of legal experience with significant focus on transaction/commercial law.
• Deep understanding of software licensing (SaaS), services agreements, and data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).
• Operational mindset with comfort using CLM tools like Zip.

• Prior in-house experience supporting a procurement or sourcing function.
