💼 About This Role

You'll bridge theoretical simulations and physical reality by designing, executing, and analyzing experimental campaigns for next-generation UAV platforms. Your work will validate flight physics, ensuring aircraft are efficient, stable, and safe through rapid prototyping and rigorous testing. You'll collaborate closely with the Mechanical team to translate aerodynamic concepts into testable hardware.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and manufacture foam, 3D-printed, or composite prototypes for aerodynamic iteration.
• Lead flight test campaigns for fixed-wing and eVTOL platforms.
• Design and execute wind tunnel experiments and static thrust tests.
• Correlate CFD predictions with experimental results to generate Aerodynamic Databases.

📋 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with focus on experimental fluid dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with CNC hot-wire foam cutting, 3D printing, or composites.
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) for data processing.
• Advanced CAD skills in SolidWorks or CATIA.

• RC flight experience as a pilot.
• Machine Learning or ROMs for Aerodynamic Databases.
• System identification techniques using flight data.
