💼 About This Role

You'll own propulsion system architecture and integration for hypersonic vehicles at Ursa Major, from concept through flight demonstration. You'll drive technical decisions across design, test, and manufacturing in a fast-paced, hardware-centric team. This role offers hybrid or on-site work in Berthoud, Colorado.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead clean sheet design of fluid mechanical vehicle components
• Own propulsion subsystem architecture and requirements definition
• Support rapid development cycles including testing and data analysis
• Serve as technical authority for propulsion interfaces with other subsystems

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 12+ years in propulsion systems engineering
• Experience with hypersonic, missile, or high-performance aerospace vehicles
• Proficiency with CAD and GD&T per ASME Y14.5

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering
• Experience with hypersonic propulsion architectures
• Proficiency in PTC Creo or Siemens NX
