Description

As a Senior Backend Engineer at CB Insights, you will be part of a cross-disciplinary remote team building a next-generation market intelligence platform. You'll focus on search infrastructure, including relevance, query optimization, and indexing for large-scale data retrieval, while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Go or Python
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in unit and integration testing
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog
• Proficient with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)

Responsibilities

• Develop features for the market intelligence platform focusing on search infrastructure
• Deliver well-engineered, maintainable, and tested solutions
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
• Collaborate with product team to understand business requirements
• Own search relevance, query optimization, and indexing strategies
