Description

You will work on building and improving mechanical systems at rocket launch facilities, using laser tracker technology to ensure precision fabrication. You will collect geometric data, analyze results, and collaborate with fabricators and engineers to support successful launches.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1+ years experience in manufacturing, production, fabrication, or tooling
• Experience with model-based metrology and data analysis
• Experience with inspection equipment (e.g., micrometers, CMM, laser trackers)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., work at heights up to 100 ft., and in extreme environments

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints using GD&T at all assembly levels
• Collect geometric data via laser tracker using model-based software like Verisurf
• Establish and apply reference systems for measurement tasks
• Analyze data and evaluate it to guide remaining operations
• Integrate process monitoring with fabrication for welding and machining details
