💼 About This Role

You'll drive the accounting strategy for digital asset and OTC derivative prime brokerage products, ensuring GAAP and regulatory compliance. You'll lead a team to design scalable processes and integrate trading system reporting. This role offers the chance to work with a federally chartered crypto bank and shape evolving industry practices.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead month-end close for brokerage legal entities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Drive development of scalable automated financial processes and internal trading system reporting.
• Collaborate with brokerage, legal, and operations teams on accounting treatment for new products.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain documentation of accounting processes.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of related accounting experience including Big 4 or fintech.
• Expertise in US GAAP with focus on ASC 606 and ASC 815.
• Experience with swap-dealer accounting and regulatory reporting (e.g., NFA filings).
• Proficiency in Google Sheets for large data sets.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of blockchain and crypto economy.
• Ability to write Python scripts or SQL queries.
• Experience with Netsuite and G-suite.
