Description

You will design, prototype, and support IP-based communications for our LEO satellite network, working closely with software, RF, and hardware teams. Your work directly influences how our space systems operate, giving you room to grow and make an impact.

Requirements

• More than 5 years experience with design and implementation of communication networks
• IP networking (TCP/UDP), tunnelling techniques, and secure data handling
• Practical understanding of network and transport protocols
• Proactive, transparent, and truth-seeking collaboration approach
• Adaptability and openness to learning new technologies

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support IP-based network with communication features across AWS regions, ground stations, and spacecraft on Linux
• Develop upper communication layers software using TUN/TAP and open-source tools
• Build network monitoring tools for packet, routing, connection metrics, throughput, latency, traffic flows
• Contribute to continuous improvements in constellation communication performance, monitoring, debugging, testing
• Support definition of QoS features, routing and traffic handling in a multi-tenancy environment
