💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Financial Crime strategy for Monzo's Business Bank, managing a team of analysts to build controls and prevent crime while ensuring a great customer experience. You'll work alongside data scientists and engineers to develop industry-leading detection capabilities. This role offers a chance to shape fincrime prevention across multiple products and jurisdictions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage a team of specialist FinCrime risk owners implementing controls for Business Banking.
• Own the strategy for building financial crime prevention for Monzo's Business Bank.
• Develop strategic relationships with product owners and senior executives.
• Identify high-priority issues and drive solutions with the FinCrime team.

📋 Requirements

• People management experience investing in team development.
• Significant knowledge of Financial Crime and Fraud risks in business/commercial banking.
• Experience implementing controls for Business-specific products like Merchant Acquiring, Cash Deposits, and Borrowing.
• Experience working with mature FinCrime systems across multiple EU products/locations.
