Description

You will lead the execution and optimization of B2B events including tradeshows, hospitality events, and VIP programs at CarGurus. This role involves end-to-end planning, cross-functional collaboration, and performance analysis to drive demand and revenue.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of B2B marketing event management experience (automotive, technology, or SaaS preferred).
  • Proven track record owning complex, multi-stakeholder events and tradeshows.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect event strategy to revenue and company strategy.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and event budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of marketing events including hospitality, tradeshows, and VIP summits.
  • Own event planning, project management, and definition of objectives, target audiences, and success metrics.
  • Manage Cvent implementation and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, Product, and other teams to align events with GTM priorities.
  • Prepare and present event performance reports with insights and recommendations for optimization.
