Description
You will lead the execution and optimization of B2B events including tradeshows, hospitality events, and VIP programs at CarGurus. This role involves end-to-end planning, cross-functional collaboration, and performance analysis to drive demand and revenue.
Requirements
- 6+ years of B2B marketing event management experience (automotive, technology, or SaaS preferred).
- Proven track record owning complex, multi-stakeholder events and tradeshows.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect event strategy to revenue and company strategy.
- Excellent project management and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and event budgets.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of marketing events including hospitality, tradeshows, and VIP summits.
- Own event planning, project management, and definition of objectives, target audiences, and success metrics.
- Manage Cvent implementation and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, Product, and other teams to align events with GTM priorities.
- Prepare and present event performance reports with insights and recommendations for optimization.
