Description

You will innovate and maintain Contentful's content storage infrastructure and adjacent services, working on the foundation that teams build on top of while directly impacting customer experience with scalability and performance features. You'll join a collaborative team focused on building highly scalable and reliable systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development and systems engineering
• Strong understanding of relational database engines (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Thorough AWS knowledge across core services: RDS, S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS
• Terraform and Kubernetes expertise
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Typescript, Go)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop content storage infrastructure serving billions of requests
• Work with AWS using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
• Collaborate closely with teams in content storage and delivery domains
• Develop and maintain services written in Typescript and Go
• Anticipate operational bottlenecks and failure points
