💼 About This Role

You'll be the mechanical DRI for manufacturing launch and sustaining of next-generation optical and AI infrastructure products. You'll own the full arc from early development through volume production, driving quality, cost, and yield with contract manufacturers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead mechanical DFM/DFA reviews on housing, sheet metal, die-cast, injection-molded components
• Own end-to-end mechanical NPI execution at CMs from proto through mass production
• Drive tolerance stack-up analysis and disposition non-conformances via MRB process
• Author and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through PLM system

📋 Requirements

• 5-8 years of mechanical product engineering experience
• Proven track record in DFM/DFA for precision mechanical components
• Hands-on experience with tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T
• Experience with NPI and production ramp at contract manufacturers

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing automation equipment or test fixtures
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and cosmetic acceptance criteria
• Background in optical or photonics hardware
