💼 About This Role

You'll develop and maintain software systems to autonomously operate a heterogeneous satellite fleet at a space infrastructure company. Your work directly impacts reliability and scalability of space operations. You will also serve as a rotating Flight Director overseeing fleet health and incident response.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain autonomous satellite operation software systems.
• Build tools and libraries for integration on the satellite platform.
• Scale operations software for a heterogeneous and growing fleet.
• Serve as rotating Flight Director overseeing fleet health and safety.

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience in software development with automation skills.
• Ability to work across full software and hardware stack including ground and space.
• Proficiency in Python and Git.
• Willingness to be trained as a Flight Director and participate in on-call rotation.

✨ Nice to Have

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Docker, Lua, Linux, CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience as a satellite operator.
