You'll manage complex employee leave cases across multiple federal and state regulations as a primary point of contact. You'll act as a trusted subject matter expert guiding clients and internal teams through FMLA, CFRA, and disability leaves. This role combines regulatory expertise with operational excellence in a fully remote, client-facing environment.

  • Manage full-cycle leave administration for a portfolio of clients.
  • Intake and evaluate leave requests, making recommendations for HR approval.
  • Coordinate with benefits and payroll teams for accurate pay and benefit continuation.
  • Serve as escalation support for complex or sensitive leave cases.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in leave of absence administration.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL).
  • Experience serving as a mentor or escalation point for leave specialists.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and leave management systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
  • HR or leave certifications (PHR, SPHR, CLMS).
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools.
