Description

You will lead the evolution of Smart-Grid applications and the electric power system model used for scheduling and dispatch software. This role involves maintaining EMS and BMS software, developing market design initiatives, and providing technical leadership for the NYISO's energy market and grid operations.

Requirements

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
• Strong knowledge of power system software and mathematical optimization
• Experience with EMS, BMS, or Smart-Grid applications
• Ability to lead Factory/Site Acceptance Testing
• Experience with stakeholder coordination and vendor management

Responsibilities

• Lead Smart-Grid application software evolution
• Develop and design Smart-Grid application requirements
• Lead coordination of EMS/BMS platform projects
• Define and lead studies of future market products and technologies
• Support external research engagements
