💼 About This Role

You'll architect the technical infrastructure that protects Waymo's people, properties, and operations. Your focus will be on seamless integration of disparate security platforms and ensuring root data sources feed downstream applications without disruption. This hybrid role reports to the Head of Physical Security.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect integration of VMS, ACS, Radio, Phone, CEM, and Case Management systems
• Lead technical vetting of new technology proposals through internal approvals
• Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) frameworks
• Serve as technical liaison between operational security teams and engineering functions

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years in security systems engineering or integration
• Experience leading formal Root Cause Corrective Action investigations
• Experience navigating technology through multi-jurisdictional privacy compliance assessments

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Bash for automation
• Experience managing communication systems (Radio/VOIP) integration
• Advanced experience using Generative AI for process documentation
