💼 About This Role

You'll drive new business for Benchling's AI platform in the Nordics, focusing on biotech R&D organizations. You'll generate your own pipeline, manage complex sales cycles, and close deals with multiple personas from technical users to CxO executives. This role offers the chance to work remotely while shaping the future of scientific R&D.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Generate 80% of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts within +/-10% of goal
  • Tailor presentations and proposals to prospect-specific needs
  • Lead negotiations with multiple stakeholders including CxO executives
  • Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners for client success

📋 Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in a data management or workflow SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline generation and manage complex sales cycles
  • Strong sales forecasting skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience selling solutions outside pre-established budgets with a compelling business case

  • Familiarity with MEDDICC sales methodology
  • Knowledge of the life sciences industry (R&D, IT functions)
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences
