Description

You will assemble and test rocket hardware for the Raptor engine, including combustion devices and thermal protection systems. You'll operate specialized machinery, read technical drawings, use precision tools, and troubleshoot engine systems on the test stand. Your work directly supports SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years experience in manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Stand for extended periods (8 hours minimum)
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR)

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test rocket hardware per procedures and specifications
• Operate vacuum furnaces, ultrasonic immersion, and proof/waterflow booths
• Clean, prepare, and assemble combustion devices for welding or brazing
• Troubleshoot engines and cell systems using test instrumentation
• Perform blending, filing, and shearing of metal piece parts
