Description

You will play a key role in Oscar's valuation function, focusing on risk adjustment across ACA markets. You'll own maintenance and review of actuarial models for risk adjustment accrual and forecasting estimates, driving impactful projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) or on track
• 3+ years experience in related field
• Strong knowledge of core health insurance concepts
• Highly technical with enthusiasm for tech-forward methods in actuarial models

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance core risk adjustment reporting and forecasting models
• Serve as key contributor in improving modeling infrastructure and automation
• Develop recommendations for risk adjustment accrual setting and financial planning
• Identify and investigate drivers of trends across plan designs, providers, vendors, markets
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
