Description

You will create and revise 2D and 3D technical illustrations for maintenance, operations, and training documentation supporting Anduril's defense programs. You will work closely with engineers and technical writers to translate complex mechanical and system concepts into clear visuals that support field operations and mission success.

Requirements

• 3+ years as technical illustrator in aerospace/defense/government contracting
• Proficiency with PTC IsoDraw/Rapid Author/Rapid Illustrator
• Experience supporting DoD programs in regulated documentation environments
• Ability to interpret engineering source data (drawings, models, specifications)
• Experience with technical publication tools (Arbortext, Rapid Author, Cortona)

Responsibilities

• Define and implement S1000D-compliant illustration standards across technical documentation
• Create and revise 2D and 3D content using Rapid Illustrator for IETMs and manuals
• Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to produce accurate illustrations
• Collaborate with technical writers to align graphics with procedural content
• Manage illustration revisions through configuration control processes
