Description
You will lead the quality, consistency, and strategic direction of nursing services across Aspire's multi-state footprint, ensuring clinical excellence and regulatory compliance for neurodiverse individuals.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with multi-state licensure or ability to obtain.
- 7–10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in the IDD field, including multi-site/multi-state oversight.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration systems, delegation practices, and regulatory requirements in IDD/behavioral health.
- Experience supporting individuals with IDD, aging adults with complex medical needs, and those on psychotropic medications.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience with eMAR implementation and HRST or similar risk stratification tools preferred.
- Experience with oversight of internal and contracted nursing models preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior nursing authority accountable for nursing practice quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance across all states and service lines.
- Reduce clinical and regulatory risk through medication oversight, standardized documentation, and proactive trend analysis.
- Design and implement a standardized enterprise-wide nursing model defining roles, scopes, caseloads, supervision, and delegation.
- Oversee contracted nursing vendors, setting quality standards and monitoring performance.
- Lead medication management infrastructure including eMAR system selection, implementation, and oversight.
- Standardize nursing documentation practices and partner with Quality Compliance for joint audits.
- Establish training and competency frameworks for nurses, DSPs, and home providers.
- Implement health risk assessment tools and analyze data to inform clinical oversight.
- Ensure nursing is promptly notified of hospitalizations, medication changes, and critical incidents.
- Align nursing staffing models and expenditures with quality outcomes and risk reduction goals.
