💼 About This Role

You'll design and develop computer vision algorithms for particle detection and structure identification in a production environment. Your core impact is optimizing visual processing pipelines for real-time performance using GPU acceleration. C++ and Python expertise is required. Deep Learning for vision is a key focus. Hybrid workplace in Quebec.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Design and develop particle detection algorithms (size, shape, distribution)
  • Choose approach between classical vision and Deep Learning per problem
  • Write tested, documented C++ and Python code
  • Optimize visual pipelines for real-time performance via CUDA or OpenCL

📋 Requirements

  • C++ and Python mastery in industrial context
  • Solid experience with OpenCV for image processing and analysis
  • Practical Deep Learning for object detection/segmentation (YOLO)
  • Experience with GPU frameworks: CUDA and/or OpenCL

✨ Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Rust
  • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
