💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a senior technical advisor for Azul Prime, driving adoption and optimization for strategic customers. You'll spend most of your time on JVM performance tuning and root cause analysis, not building slide decks. This role offers direct partnership with Azul's engineering team, owning technical outcomes from candidate selection through production rollout.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own a portfolio of named strategic customers with $500K+ ACV.
• Lead troubleshooting and performance tuning for JVM-based applications.
• Provide architectural guidance on reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Partner with engineering to resolve complex technical issues and shape roadmap.

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years in senior technical roles (software engineering, SRE, performance engineering).
• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles (TAM, solutions architect, consulting engineer).
• Strong working knowledge of Java programming and JVM internals.
• Experience tuning and troubleshooting enterprise-scale Java applications in production.

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep specialization in JVM performance tuning and low-latency Java.
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, JFR).
• Cloud platform certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SRE-related certifications.
