You will ensure the safety and reliability of Nuro's autonomous vehicle platforms by designing and implementing hardware-software improvements, performing advanced systems analysis, and developing Linux-based tools and automation frameworks. Collaborate across teams to maintain and optimize fleet performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Clean driving record
• Proficiency in Linux and coding
• Hands-on hardware integration and testing experience
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex hardware-software interactions in robotic systems

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware-software improvements for fleet reliability and safety
• Perform advanced systems analysis to resolve complex software-hardware interactions
• Develop Linux-based tools, scripts, and automation for fleet monitoring and diagnostics
• Contribute to architectural decisions for autonomous vehicle platforms
• Author technical documentation and design specifications
