Description

You will design and implement Bridge's security roadmap, identify and tackle critical security risks, integrate with Stripe's infrastructure, lead threat modeling for money movement systems, and build key security capabilities. This role is part of a fintech innovation hub operating like a startup within Stripe.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Security engineering, ideally in startup environments
• Startup mindset: scrappy, pragmatic, and fast-moving
• Comfortable writing and debugging backend code (Ruby plus)
• Thrives in ambiguity and prioritizes effectively
• Balances security rigor with speed

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Bridge's security roadmap
• Identify and tackle critical security risks pragmatically
• Lead threat modeling and hardening for money movement systems
• Build key security capabilities (monitoring, secrets management, incident response, access controls, CI/CD hardening)
• Ensure compliance and audit expectations for regulated markets
