Description

You will lead the evolution of Benevity's Intelligent Impact Platform by overseeing core capabilities like User Identity Access Management, Developer Experience, and API extensibility. You'll empower 20+ engineering squads to build experiences for a global, multi-tenant client base on a governed, multi-cloud architecture.

Requirements

• Experienced leader capable of navigating complex multi-year transformations
• Empathetic communicator bridging executive vision and engineering execution
• Proven track record of managing inclusive organizations of 30-60 people
• Deep expertise in platform modernization using domain-driven design and event-driven architecture
• Extensive background leading design of enterprise-grade identity systems including UIAM, OAuth2, OIDC

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse engineering teams delivering core UIAM, authentication flows, and shared business services
• Empower engineers by evolving the paved path through AI-augmented tools and service templates
• Partner with Architecture Office to define platform-wide standards and own API governance model
• Accelerate modernization initiatives by refactoring legacy systems and promoting vertical thin-slice delivery
• Drive adoption of service observability, performance engineering, and multi-region readiness
