Description

You will act as a subject matter expert for Japan payroll, manage relationships with stakeholders, process end-to-end payroll in-house, ensure data integrity, and mentor team members. This role is part of the Global Payroll Operations Team at Remote.

Requirements

• Payroll management or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of payroll best practices
• Proficient in SAP, Excel/Google Sheets
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for Japan payroll
• Manage stakeholder relationships with Payroll, Finance, Product, Engineers
• Process full end-to-end payroll, statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, compliance
• Ensure data integrity, quality, accounting/reconciliation, and focus on KPIs and SLAs
• Mentor and support payroll specialists
