You'll own the roadmap for identity verification and fraud prevention across Betterment's investing and cash products. Your work will balance security and customer experience to protect over 1M customers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define product roadmap for identity verification and account security controls
• Partner with engineering to design and launch risk-scoring and KYC solutions
• Run experiments to calibrate trust interventions and thresholds
• Track success metrics balancing fraud reduction and customer experience

📋 Requirements

• Product management experience in fintech or risk-heavy domains
• Strong analytical and data-informed decision-making skills
• Ability to balance fraud reduction with customer experience and growth
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams including engineering and compliance

• Experience with KYC/AML, identity verification, or authentication
• Comfort with ACH and card risk, account takeover, or device intelligence
