💼 About This Role

You'll build and operate lifecycle messaging and in-product growth experimentation infrastructure at Quizlet, a leading learning platform. You'll own the systems behind notification orchestration and experiment tooling that directly shape user growth and engagement. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys building platform capabilities that power millions of learning interactions daily.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own email, push, and in-product messaging orchestration infrastructure
• Maintain messaging decisioning logic, eligibility rules, and frequency guardrails
• Build systems for lifecycle programs across activation, engagement, retention
• Build growth experimentation infrastructure including feature flag integration

📋 Requirements

• Strong backend or platform engineering experience building reliable scalable systems
• Experience with notification systems, messaging infrastructure, or lifecycle platforms
• Experience supporting product experimentation, feature flags, or A/B testing
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Engineering teams

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Braze or similar lifecycle messaging platforms
• Experience with feature flag systems or experimentation frameworks
• Familiarity with user targeting or growth analytics
