Description

You will track, investigate, and analyze electrical and mechanical hardware failure modes on the world's largest satellite fleet. Your work involves hardware testing, on-orbit data analysis, and collaboration with design, production, and operations teams to resolve anomalies and improve reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics or other STEM
  • 1+ years professional experience in hardware development, troubleshooting, or data analysis
  • 1+ years experience with Python and/or SQL
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and track on-orbit hardware failures for Starlink satellite constellation
  • Drive root cause investigation for major on-orbit hardware anomalies
  • Perform electrical bench testing and develop engineering models of failures
  • Work cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, software, and operations teams
  • Build tools to analyze on-orbit and ground test data for continuous improvement
