Description
You will track, investigate, and analyze electrical and mechanical hardware failure modes on the world's largest satellite fleet. Your work involves hardware testing, on-orbit data analysis, and collaboration with design, production, and operations teams to resolve anomalies and improve reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics or other STEM
- 1+ years professional experience in hardware development, troubleshooting, or data analysis
- 1+ years experience with Python and/or SQL
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Analyze and track on-orbit hardware failures for Starlink satellite constellation
- Drive root cause investigation for major on-orbit hardware anomalies
- Perform electrical bench testing and develop engineering models of failures
- Work cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, software, and operations teams
- Build tools to analyze on-orbit and ground test data for continuous improvement
