Description

Join the AI Software Engineering team at SpaceX to develop AI systems that accelerate software development, testing, avionics design, flight data review, logistics, and mission operations. You'll work with LLMs, RAG, ML, and build tools to help engineers design and test space hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math or physics; or 4+ years of professional software experience
• 1+ years of experience in AI software engineering, full stack development, and data science
• Programming experience in Python, C++, or similar
• Experience building LLM RAG pipelines in LlamaIndex or similar
• Available to work extended hours and weekends when needed

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable and scalable AI pipelines for engineers across departments
• Create new AI applications to revolutionize day-to-day operations
• Build AI-driven data review tools
• Collaborate with peers on architecture, design, and code reviews
• Prototype AI design concepts and quantify technical constraints
